Cameron “Cam” Thompson is a graduate from Rice University where he studied Political Science and majored in Sport Management (with a focus on Business Development). Upon graduation he joined a niche Oil & Natural Gas Consulting Firm. He quickly climbed the ranks to manage the EDU division providing public high schools around the nation access to competency based training solutions to help build a strong candidate pipeline for the future to come. He left the private sector to perform as a Football Coach at Rice University with a key emphasis on scouting and recruiting talent.
Cam has since gone on to hold titles as Defensive Coordinator for Forney ISD and Co-Coordinator at Waxahachie and Burleson ISD under Jon Kitna. Cam has a strong background in business development, management of diverse teams, and relationship building. He brings a positive presence and integrity that adds value to our team at ThinkBAC Consulting.
While performing as VP of Marketing for S1PL, Cam built lasting relationships with a keen understanding of the Energy Sector. During that time, Cam managed 44 client accounts which generated over a third of the annual revenue. His emphasis was on international deployments and sustainable opportunities. He has worked with domestic and foreign groups of Drilling Contractors, OFS Companies and Operators to design and deliver strategies to address mass hiring and nationalization. His experience and due diligence, alongside his understanding of people, make an immediate impact with the industries we serve.
He brings his expertise to ThinkBAC Consulting as a Principal Consultant and Business Development Director.
